As a corporate citizen seeking win-win growth with society, Polaris Shipping carries out a wide array of social contribution activities such as sponsorship of social welfare facilities, support for local communities, and industry-university cooperation. We will continue to develop diverse social contribution programs for shared growth with local communities we serve.

Supports for Social Welfare Facilities and Local Communities

Kimchi Donation - Our employees prepare kimchi made with organic cabbage and radish grown in the vegetable garden every winter in order to donate it to the disadvantaged. / Volunteer at Welfare Facilities for Senior Citizens - Our vol.unteering group “Fireflies” visits the “House of Hope” located in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, on a regular basis to take care of senior citizens living alone or in poverty. / Coal Briquette Donation - At the end of every year, our employees participate in the coal briquette donation campaign for low- income families in the local communities. / Bread of Love - Our employees and their family members take part in the “Bread of Love” campaign hosted by the Korean Red Cross. The bread they bake is donated to the disadvantaged and welfare facilities across the nation.

Industry-university Cooperation

Industry-university Cooperation Agreement and Scholarship

Polaris Shipping has signed an agreement on mutual cooperation and supports for
scholarships with Korea Maritime and Ocean University, contributing to nurturing
professionals who will lead the nation’s shipping industry in the future.
