Polaris Shipping Co., Ltd. (CEO Han Hee-seung) visited the Busan Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Lee Soo-tae, Busan Fruit of Love) on the 20th to participate in the Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign and delivered 50 million won in love donations for neighbors (photo).

The delivery ceremony, which was held in the conference room of the Busan Fruit of Love, was attended by Jeong Yong-ki, executive director of the maritime division of Polaris Shipping Co., Ltd., and Lee Soo-tae, chairman of the Busan Fruit of Love.

The donations donated on this day will be used in four major business areas: support for responding to new social problems such as the new poor and the climate crisis, support for caring for families in crisis, support for social safety nets, and support for education and self-reliance.

Polaris Shipping participated in the Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign to participate in the spread of the sharing culture and practice love for neighbors. This sharing activity will serve as a stepping stone to strengthen corporate social responsibility and further solidify the trust of the local community. 

"We made a donation as part of the realization of the value of growing with the local community and living together," said executive director Chung Yong-ki. "We hope this donation will serve as an opportunity to promote the value of sharing among companies." Lee Soo-tae, chairman of the Busan Fruit of Love, said, "We will make efforts to provide practical help to the lives of local residents by supporting those in need and those in the blind spot of welfare." 

Polaris Shipping is a shipping company established in 2004, and its main businesses include outward cargo transportation.
