Polaris Shipping announced on the 31st that it has provided 30 million won in emergency relief donations for residents of large forest fire-affected areas in the Yeongnam region.

The donations will be used for emergency relief such as providing daily necessities for victims in Gyeongbuk, Yeongnam, and Ulsan, which were declared special disaster areas through the National Disaster Relief Association, providing temporary residential spaces, and later supporting the victims' return to their daily lives and restoring forests.

"We hope that residents will return to their daily lives as soon as possible with the prompt normalization of the affected areas," a Polaris Shipping official said.
